Meet Amy Schadt, a passionate life coach, dancer, choreographer, and educator who has dedicated her life to empowering others to reach their full potential. With an impressive background in both coaching and dance, Amy brings a unique and dynamic approach to her work.
Amy’s journey began with her coaching certification through The Life Purpose Institute, an accredited institute of the International Coach Federation. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in education, she understands the complexities of human motivation and has the ability to guide others in connecting with their inner drive.
As an established dancer, choreographer, and teacher, Amy has graced the stages of numerous productions in the vibrant Los Angeles area.
Her extensive dance education includes training with renowned dancers and choreographers such as Hama and the late Claude Thompson, mastering their techniques and honing her skills. Amy’s passion for dance led her to become the principal dancer in LA Journey, a collaborative ballet, and to serve as Claude Thompson’s and Hama’s trusted assistant for many years. Her choreographic work has been showcased in commercials, music videos, revues, and various productions across Los Angeles.
In 2015 she earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Performing Arts from St. Mary’s College of California and is currently on faculty at The Colburn School in Los Angeles where she teaches jazz dance, musical theater jazz dance, and movement for musicians.
Amy’s creativity and deep understanding of movement led her to develop the Radical Embodiment Method, a transformative approach that integrates her vast knowledge of movement, energy, coaching, and visualization that enhances her ability to connect with clients, as she posses a firm yet easy-going confidence and deep understanding of how to help individual feel at home in their own bodies. Through her workshops, Amy supports artists, creators, and individual seeking a more purposeful and conscious life.
Amy’s personal resilience shines through as she overcame her own adversity following the tragic and untimely death of her fiancé in 2011. This experience forced her to dig deep and rediscover her sense of purpose, ultimately leading her to create a new professional identity. Amy faced numerous challenges, supporting herself while attending school and silencing the nagging voice that tells us we’re not good enough. Her own journey has fueled her desire to help others navigate their own challenges and discover their true voices—the ones that will guide them to the fulfilling lives they’ve always desired.
