Embracing Your Inner Badass: A Journey to Authenticity, Action, and True Confidence

Embracing Your Inner Badass... The Embodied Way

What if the parts of you that got labeled as “too much” — the defiant edge, the fire that burned a little too bright, the voice that refused to stay small — were never the problem at all? What if they were always the seed of something extraordinary, waiting for the right conditions to become your greatest source of power?

This is the journey of the Radical Embodiment Method: learning to meet yourself fully, to stop managing your energy and start channeling it, and to step into the kind of confidence that doesn’t come from approval, it comes from deep, unshakeable self-knowledge.

Today, we’re talking about reclaiming your inner badass, not the reactionary version that acts from fear or pain, but the transformed, embodied version that moves through the world with grounded courage, emotional intelligence, and the quiet certainty that she belongs exactly where she is

Keep reading to find out why my Radical Embodiment MethodReflect, Release, Re-Envision, Re-Design — is at the heart claiming your inner badass.

The Badass You Were Told to Hide

For most women, the inner badass shows up first as something raw and unrefined — as defiance, a sharp tongue, a refusal to comply, an anger that had nowhere to go.

And because we live in a world that rewards women for being agreeable, soft, and accommodating, that energy gets pathologized. We’re taught to feel guilty about it, ashamed of it, afraid of it.

But here is what I want you to understand: that energy was never wrong. It was protective. It was intelligent. It was the part of you that knew, even before the rest of you caught up, that something wasn’t right — that you were being asked to shrink, to disappear, to hand over your power in exchange for belonging.

Transformation doesn’t ask you to kill that part of yourself. It asks you to evolve it. The same fire that once burned everything down becomes the fuel that builds something magnificent — when it’s held by awareness, guided by intention, and rooted in self-trust.

REM Process — Reflect: Be the Wise Seeker

Discover the beliefs and biases that have been keeping your power hidden.

Reconnect with yourself through visualization — see the woman you are beneath the conditioning.

Uncover the core values and motivators that your authentic self has always known.

Action Is Where Transformation Lives

The moment you begin moving toward your true desires — writing the book, launching the business, healing the relationship with yourself — your limiting beliefs will show up louder than ever. They will tell you that you’re not ready, that you’re not enough, that who do you think you are. This is not a sign that something is wrong. This is the threshold.

And this is precisely where your reformed badass self becomes essential. Not the version that acts from desperation or fear, but the version that has been tempered by self-awareness and is now capable of something far more powerful: courageous, deliberate, embodied action.

Women in particular are conditioned to wait — to wait until they feel ready, until conditions are perfect, until they’ve received enough permission from enough people. But waiting is not safety. Waiting is how we trade our dreams for comfort, our gifts for the illusion of security. What it actually takes is guts, resilience, and a willingness to move before you feel completely ready.

REM Process — Release: Be the Peaceful Warrior

Release the old thoughts, beliefs, and habits that tell you to wait for permission.

Tap into the wisdom of your body — it already knows which action to take next.

Let go of the trappings of perfection that have kept your gifts locked inside.

You don’t want to hurt people. You’re not here to burn everything down. The old way was reacting ⚡ Snapping. Exploding. Calling it “honesty” when it was really unprocessed rage. The embodied badass moves differently 🧠🔥

You Were Never Meant to Belong by Shrinking

One of the deepest wounds women carry is the wound of conditional belonging — the belief that you have to make yourself smaller, quieter, more palatable, in order to be accepted. And so we hide our gifts. We downplay our intelligence. We soften our power. We mute the very things that make us extraordinary.

True belonging — the kind that the Radical Embodiment Method is built on — doesn’t work that way. Real belonging is not something you earn by becoming less. It’s something you claim by becoming more fully yourself.

It’s the experience of being seen, valued, and received exactly as you are — and finding that the right people, the right community, the right spaces, were always waiting for the real you to arrive.

When you stop performing a version of yourself designed to manage other people’s comfort, something remarkable happens: you begin to attract real community. Women who see you. Women who are doing the same courageous work. Women who don’t need you to be small because they are busy being fully alive themselves.

REM Process — Re-Envision: Be the Master Innovator

Create a purpose-driven vision of the woman you are stepping into — fully seen, fully belonging.

Reframe the negative past experiences that taught you belonging required shrinking.

Awaken your authentic voice and the confidence to let it be heard in every room you enter.

Emotional Presence: Feeling It in Your Body

Living your badass truth requires something that no amount of mindset work alone can give you: the ability to be present with your emotions as they move through your body, in real time, without shutting down or blowing up. This is embodiment. This is the practice.

When you’re at a gathering and agitation rises in your chest, you don’t have to perform calm or explode into reactivity. You can pause, notice, name what you feel, breathe into it, and choose — consciously and deliberately — what comes next. That pause, that moment of somatic awareness, is where your power lives.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is go quiet. When you stop filling every space with explanation, with justification, with noise — when you simply embody what you want others to feel — the room changes. People listen differently. Your presence does the work your words were exhausting themselves trying to do.

REM Process — Reflect: Be the Wise Seeker

Reflection demands quieting yourself and to remove any distractions, that includes other peoples influence over the situation.

Reconnect with your emotions, name them, and feel where they are living in your body.

Reflection is used to become aware of your thoughts and feeling, not to change them or judge them.

Choose Yourself — Without Apology

The final and perhaps most radical act of the embodied badass is this: choosing yourself. Not instead of others out of selfishness, but as the foundation from which you show up for everything else.

You cannot pour from a vessel that you have never filled. You cannot lead others into their power if you have bartered away your own.

Martyrdom is not nobility. It is a pattern, and like all patterns, it can be changed. When you choose yourself — your truth, your gifts, your full presence — you give every person in your life the profound gift of encountering someone who is actually, genuinely, beautifully here.

You were never meant to earn your place in this world by making yourself less. You were meant to take up space, to bring your gifts forward, to belong fiercely and fully — exactly as you are.

REM Process — Re-Design: Be the Confident Creator

Build creative strategies that put your own vision and wellbeing at the center.

Find your tribe — women who celebrate your wholeness rather than requiring your smallness.

Create accountability structures that keep you choosing yourself, day after day.

3 Transformational Practices

1

Catch the Emotion Before It Catches You

Sit down with a journal and make two columns: one for the people, situations, and habits that fill you up, and one for the ones that consistently drain you.
Be ruthlessly honest. Your energy is your most sacred resource, and how you spend it is a direct reflection of how much you value yourself.
The embodied badass does not give her power away carelessly — she invests it with intention, in places and people that honor who she is becoming.

2

Take One Courageous Action Today

The next time you feel a strong emotion rising — whether it’s agitation, anxiety, or that low hum of resentment — pause before you react.
Place one hand on your chest and simply name what you feel out loud or in writing. “I feel angry.” “I feel afraid.” “I feel unseen.” This single act of somatic awareness interrupts the automatic pattern and returns the power to you. Embodiment begins the moment you decide to feel instead of flee.

3

Audit Where Your Energy Is Going

Identify one thing you have been postponing because you are waiting to feel more confident, more prepared, or more worthy. Then do a version of it today — even a small one. Send the email. Record the video. Say the thing you have been swallowing.
Confidence is not a prerequisite for action; it is the byproduct of it. Every time you move before you feel completely ready, you are proving your old limiting story wrong.

When you hesitate, they label you. Indecisive. Inconsistent. Incapable.
🚨 Not owning your desires makes you look unsure. 🚨 Explaining yourself makes you look small. 🚨 Letting others define you makes you invisible. You’re not confused. You’re just not fully claimed. 💥 Decide who you are. 💥 Decide what you want. 💥 Stop negotiating your identity. Clarity is power. Self-trust is authority.

You don’t have to be perfect to be a badass. You have to be willing to meet yourself where you are with honesty, kindness, and a little humor.

This work — the Radical Embodiment Method — exists for women who are done pretending. Done managing. Done shrinking. If you are ready to move from performing your life to actually living it, I would be honored to walk that path with you.

The community waiting for you is filled with women who are doing exactly this work — women who will see you not as you’ve been, but as you are becoming. Women who will hold space for your becoming without needing you to stay small so they can feel comfortable. That is belonging at its most radical.

Stay fierce. Stay true. Come home to yourself.

Daily Presence Practice

  • Reflect – Notice where you are, physically and emotionally.

  • Release – Let go of one “should” today.

  • Re-Envision – Imagine a truer, freer way to respond.

  • Re-Design – Take one small action toward that vision.
